I had the "spiderweb" problem also. I solved it (and this sounds like a
silly solution) by going through and re-installing all of my system libs,
devs, and so on. I download a lot of stuff from Portal - including "newer"
"better" versions of libraries, devices, etc. Apparently, something I had
didn't agree with Metaform, because when I reinstalled the original system
files Metaform started working again.....
I don't know what exactly was causing the problem, I just know that doing
